Specifically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using Green Seal-certified products for at least 75% of a building\u2019s cleaning products and materials earns:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 point in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/credits\/existing-buildings\/v5\/eqc7?return=\/credits\/Existing%20Buildings\/v5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Green Cleaning Credit<\/a> (O&amp;M)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using a Green Seal-certified cleaning service earns:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 point in the Green Cleaning Credit (O&amp;M)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Green Seal-certified paint:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Contributes toward 1 point for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/credits\/new-construction-core-and-shell\/v5\/mrc4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Materials &amp; Resources: Building Product Selection &amp; Procurement<\/a> Credit (BD&amp;C and ID&amp;C)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contributes 1 product toward the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usgbc.org\/credits\/new-construction\/v5\/mrc3?view=language&amp;return=\/credits\/New%20Construction\/v5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Material &amp; Resources: Low-Emitting Materials<\/a> Credit (BD&amp;C)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Seal is specified in five product and service categories in the Green Cleaning Credit \u2013 more than any other third-party standard. Using Green Seal-certified green cleaning products and a Green Seal-certified cleaning service together qualifies projects for 5% of the 40 points buildings need to earn the minimum level LEED\u00ae certification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The updated USGBC rating system is the most recent among hundreds of standards and policies that use Green Seal as shorthand for proven-safer products.
