Wayfair filter makes it easier for customers to shop for certified products<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Washington, D.C. \u2013 Oct. 20, 2022 \u2013\u00a0Green Seal today announced that it is partnering with\u00a0Wayfair<\/a>\u00a0in the home retailer\u2019s Shop Sustainably initiative, a new feature that allows shoppers to filter products to show more sustainable options. Products that appear under the \u201cShop Sustainably\u201d filter are certified by a trusted third-party organization to meet meaningful sustainability standards. Any Green Seal-certified product sold on Wayfair will qualify to appear in the Shop Sustainably filter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Seal\u2019s science-based certification standards emphasize health and safety, prohibiting a comprehensive list of harmful chemicals in certified products and requiring a rigorous examination of a product\u2019s environmental leadership in areas including raw materials, manufacturing, packaging, and how the product is used and disposed. Critically, Green Seal\u2019s testing requirements mean that certified products are verified to deliver uncompromising performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wayfair\u2019s selection for Shop Sustainably includes furniture, organization, appliances, and floor care products, as well as other items from a range of household categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
